Taking care of your solid wood furniture is really easy. When you buy from Herman Furniture, we make it easy because we want you to spend more time admiring your furniture instead of cleaning it ;) To care for your solid wood table, just use a damp cloth to wipe it over after use. If there are some oil or food stains, use mild soap and clean it over before wiping it down with a damp cloth. Done! Easy!!

All of Herman Furniture's solid wood tables are air-dried, and allowed to acclimatised to Singapore's weather before they reach our customers' homes. However, in the event that cracking occurs after you have received your table, we provide a one-time lifelong reparation of any cracking that might occur. We will drop by your home or office at your convenience to do the repairs.

To prolong the lifespan of your solid wood table's finishing, we recommend that you use a mat or coaster when placing hot items on the table, as they might leave a mark. The finishing that we use is a non-toxic water-based lacquer finish, it is highly durable and resistant to spills, however, prolong moisture might leave a mark on the finishing. Do clean up any spills that happen as soon as possible. 

If, after a few years, your lacquer wears out, we are able to bring it back to be refinished. It will go through the entire rigorous process of finishing - sanding and lacquering. We guarantee that it will look like a brand new live edge table being delivered to your home.
